Michele Chiossi is an Italian sculptor and designer whose work lives in the space between art and design, concept and craftsmanship. Born in Lucca and based in Pietrasanta, he approaches marble not as a static material but as a medium for emotion and reflection — translating contemporary ideas into timeless form.

A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara, Chiossi’s artistic journey began in the world of sculpture, where he explored marble as language: expressive, poetic, and unafraid of modernity. His work has been exhibited internationally, from Milan to New York, and is held in both private and public collections. Through collaborations with artisans and design houses, he has expanded his practice into furniture and objects that merge artistic depth with functional clarity.

In his collaborations with JANGEORGe Interior Design & Furniture, Chiossi brings the same curiosity and restraint that define his sculptures. His pieces reveal marble’s quiet contradictions — strength and fragility, permanence and softness — expressed through forms that feel almost alive. Each object reflects his belief that design, at its best, is both useful and poetic: a conversation between material, maker, and the lives that surround it.
